Its like the developers were like "well bob.we ran out of cool quests to do. It just felt like I was wasting time for the sake of gaining levels. The mining quests of that zone were eerily similar to picking those vegetables in the panda leveling area. And once you look at them in detail, they aren't really that cutting edge. You shouldn't have to spend an hour just going between questing areas. The first worgen you think "gosh, this is neat! New buildings, new voices, werewolves, what more can you ask for?"Īnd then you have to do it all over and and you realize how poorly spaced the quests are. I have never felt trapped in WoW until I made my second worgen. One thing I can give them credit for though is the fact that it was still WAY faster than the worgen leveling zone. I really didn't enjoy collecting vegetables and beating 3 million monkeys you do that enough when you hit 85. When, centuries ago, the pandaren suffered under the yoke of the mogu, it was the monks who. I think that the quests did speed up and were better written toward the end when you had to choose sides. I leveled a panda shaman because I had neither, and I found the starting zone to be a tad bit over done. Mists of Pandaria is an expansion built for the high level player that shows off Blizzard’s skill with dungeon design and offers plenty of rewards for long-term play. I'm with rankkorr, I really do like the hair coloring. But, somehow they stuck with me, and I feel like I'll keep a Panda in my normal rotation, even after the next race is released. I really wanted to play a monk, and I wanted to see the new content, so of course I rolled a Panda. I wasn't too fond of the Pandaren before 5.0. Now, against all odds, my rogue is becoming my new main and I really am happy with it. Rogues as a class never appealed to me that much, and when trying a new Pandaren I knew I didn't want a caster, so I just sort of lucked into it. But, what again surprised me was how the Pandaren rogue kind of ends up turning into a ninja in a lot of ways. I had never made a rogue before, and thought it might be funny to have a heavier sneaking class look. For something like a windwalker or mystweaver, I'd rather set up a human or forsaken, or something. Really, there's only a couple races that I would have a brewmaster monk on. I can see him drinking a lot, carrying heavy kegs, and taking hits. However, only once I specialized as a brewmaster monk. My first Pandaren was a male monk, and at first I thought the chubbiness might take away from what is supposed to be an agile class, but I found myself growing quite fond of him. Most traveling pandaren are brewmasters who are looking for new ingredients and recipes for various ales, and while the path of the brewmaster is a closely guarded secret, the pandaren will still.
